Welcome back to the third day of my Hawaii Challenge. It is a very important day… well, I guess they are all important since I have so few of them.
Before I get into it, check out the place I’m more than likely going to be staying at. I just spoke with the owner yesterday and it pretty much fits what I’m looking for in this getaway. Here’s the view from the backyard..it’s definitely been added to my dream wall:

Today you must figure out what you are going to be doing to achieve your goal… not in a general sense, but in a fully examined position. Know in detail what you need to be doing each day. I’m going to try and clarify this right in front of you as I make my schedule for the challenge.
First off, let’s talk about priorities… You have to be smart when it comes to choosing your daily activities. Sometimes, you get caught up in “priorities” that won’t help you reach your final goal any quicker. Skimming the Warrior Forum, checking your email, and bugging with social media are just 3 of these tasks that are often considered priorities in the work day… not so.
If you focus all your time on ONLY the activities that will result in making you money, you will be quite surprised at how much money you will actually make. In a 30 day challenge, it’s really all about the money this month. I can’t be focused on a project that would have huge potential in 6 months… that does no good for reaching my current goal.
I have to keep that in mind when planning my month.
Step 1 – Think about the big picture
For this challenge, we know that the goal is $6,650. I’ve said that I want to launch at least 2 products to try and reach this goal. Those two products in my mind are pretty important parts of this challenge. They are actually the most important priorities I have… they are the biggest money makers.
It’s a good idea to start making a list of all the things you are going to do to reach your goal. This way you can easily jot them down on your calender and space out everything accordingly. You don’t want to overbook yourself. That can lead to disappointment and we want to leave negative feelings as far away from this as possible.
Don’t forget about setting your priorities straight…
My list
- VIP Packages (finish up client work and be done with that service)
- Product #1
- Product #2
- Joint Venture Product
Those 4 things are my 4 major tasks I need done this month. I have a few sites that are getting wrapped up for clients…it’s not going to make me any money this month, but it needs to be done and out of the way. The more long term work you rack up on yourself the more busy your schedule gets. I’m moving more towards product sales instead of services these days. It allows my long vacations to be without stress.
The Joint Venture Product listed above is a special technique for getting a lot of sales quickly. Pretty much, I will be teaming up with another marketer who has a decent following. We will launch a product together and split the benefits. Making these joint venture connections is all about just reaching out and asking. Over time, you will develop friendships within your industry. This makes asking for a venture partnership much easier.
This is why you never attack or go against your competition… not even direct competition. You can always work together to better each other’s business… ALWAYS!
These are great because they take about half the time to create and you have twice as many viewers seeing the offer right away. Once I have something set up, I will be going over this a little bit more in depth in this challenge.
Step 2 – Plan your month
We have all the major tasks that need to be done this month to reach our goal. Now, it’s time to plan these suckers out so they fit within your time schedule. Each major task above can be broken down. They always can. A money making method is just a system that requires multiple steps. List each of those steps for your major tasks.
For the VIP packages, I only have the products left to create. My team is working on those diligently right now. The only real duty I personally have is to keep on top of them and make sure they are getting the work done. I will keep in mind that I may have to step in and do some work myself to finish on time. I could leave an extra day open on my calender just for this purpose.
Talking with my project managers won’t be more than 30 minutes. I can do this twice per week to make sure they are heading in the right direction.
When making your schedule, the more of a routine you create the easier the habit becomes. This can be very powerful when you make great work efficiency and execution your habits. So if I choose Monday and Thursday at noon to be my time to talk with my project managers, that’s the exact time I do it every week.
This can and should be done with many consistent work duties… like checking your email, doing social media, etc.
After adding “Talk with Himir” to my schedule, the VIP packages duty is scheduled. Now, I can move onto the next major duty. For the Joint Venture Product, I can arrange a special time each day to send out emails or call up some marketing friends. I don’t know what type of product or really what sort of venture they may like to do yet, so I can’t exactly plan it out on my calender. I will keep this in mind and perhaps leave a few days blank.
Now onto the products. These things will usually take anywhere from 3-7 days to create. The important thing to consider first when launching a product is the dates. Christmas is coming up and I do plan on being with my family that week. So, I don’t exactly want to launch something that week. It is only about 13 days away though. This leaves us enough time to launch 1-2 products.
I can wait until after Christmas to launch the 3rd product planned. Since joint venture products take much less time, I will try and get that out before Christmas with one of my own. Look at your calender and plan where everything would fit best… Don’t forget to break it down into steps!
When you start to add your detailed steps to your calender, try and only stick to 7 days maximum. If you start to plan farther ahead in great detail, one road bump will change everything you have to do. This is why I only plan 1 week in detail at a time. Keep your major tasks on your calender ahead so that you know what to transition into.

And now we can finally start getting to work. We know what needs to be done and when it needs to be finished. Now, you have just start working on it. I have my daily activities up on my white board to keep my on the right track.
